FTP Instructions: Public Archive

The data generated by the iHMP has been made publically available for download via FTP (File Transfer Protocol). Below are instructions and screenshots to help interested users configure various FTP applications and utilities.

Filezilla

The free FileZilla FTP client can be obtained from:

Cyberduck

The free Cyberduck FTP client can be obtained from:

CURL

For downloading files, one can use the "curl" command like so:

Downloading:

$ curl ftp://public-ftp.ihmpdcc.org/example_file.txt > /local/path/to/example_file.txt

LFTP

For those who like to use lftp, if you turn off FEAT negotiation in lftp, it can access the FTP server as well. Here's how:

$ lftp anonymous@public-ftp.ihmpdcc.org
